Collision by peckham rye

I've just driven past a head on collision with a white van and a bus , I really hope no ones injured , it happened about 2.55 by peckham rye / the gardens

I went past just after 3pm. The bus driver looked in shock understandably, the white van came off worse.

Wow didn't realise it happened that long ago. Agree hope no one badly hurt. They were still sorting out towing the bus 5.45pm when I walked past (had to get off bus as traffic really slow).

Can't imagine how it happened on that stretch with bus and van going in opp directions, guess one overtaking?

From when I passed the accident the van was on the wrong side of the road head on so obviously overtaking :(

This accident happened in front of my flat.

Thank you to the two kind citizens who took on the role of managing the traffic as the police and paramedics assessed the scene and before additional officers turned up. Apparently the bus driver broke his leg but I guess given that there were passengers on board, including a group of school kids it could have been a lot worse.

Poor man but yes thank god it was no worse !

What happened to the van driver ?
