I can highly recommend Dan Bentley from Bentley Bodyworks. He's excellent and has a treatment room on Lordship Lane on Saturdays and works locally on Sundays. He's very thorough and has always cleared up any niggles or knots. He has also massaged my wife. Both of us do a fair amount of running and other sports and he has always done a good job. He's also a really nice guy and listens to what your problem/need is. He's around at weekends in ED. http://bentleybodyworks.co.uk
Suki Chung of Blissful Thinking does great deep tissue massage in your own home. Brings all her stuff, including lovely towels and relaxing music, massages you and then goes leaving you to relax in the warm and not lose that nice post-massage buzz traipsing home through the cold. Very reasonable prices too. Her website is http://www.blissful-thinking.co.uk/

Sawm at Linda's hair and beauty on lordship lane opposite the old harvester.

She used to be at singhara before starting her own business and specialises in Thai Swedish.

I'm used to very deep and pressure pointed massage like the ones you get in Asia, at 40/h I'm really glad she's much closer to home :)

Had a fantastic massage with acupuncture with Chrissie. Feel so much better. Her approach is very holistic and she

doesn't just give you a massage if she sees that acupuncture would be more affective. I can feel the energy flowing again. Amazing feeling.

Would definitely recommend her.

    • Strange isn’t it…..other European countries s actually come up with solutions to house homeless people, which are pod structure, use of office blocks, etc. homeless are provided with thermals, warm sleeping bag and tent or pop up tent plus tech friendly clothing which means they are warm in extreme conditions. Us in UK? Nothing but chuckinto house of multiple occupation, which is usually not warm and not all have mould, but some do.. live in one room even if you are a family with good only knows what other sort of people…  not referring to ethinicity here but more along the lines of mental health problems, drugs, alcoholics. Single and families all in one property. Or if you are one of the lucky ones, into a hotel you go…   Why don’t we as a nation claw back more money in the form of tax  or avoidance avoidance, off shore accounts or other ways that rich or investors do buck the system….
    • Hello! I’m considering buying the demise for the loft-space above my flat (facing the classic renovate or move scenario for an additional bedroom or 2). Has anyone had recent experience of buying the demise from Southwark? Interested to know how they’re handling the premium/valuation.  thanks!
