The National Rail Journey Planner doesn't seem to be any use as a primary source. It seems to just show the trains as per the usual timetable (eg Bromley S->Victoria and ED-LBr trains for tomorrow still listed), with an added red flag pointing you to the all-important updates.

The train companies' sites (Southern, as above, and http://www.southeasternrailway.co.uk/main.php?page_id=5) seem to be the authoritative ones, with the national local stations' Arrivals and Departures pages (ED's as above) as a useful confirmation of the current state.

    • The young ones can bite car tyres around this time of year - I assume they do it for the thrill of the hiss or something like that.  We had a spate of damaged tyres and thought it was a disturbed person or at a stretch an environmental protestor taking it too far, but caught a fox on a house camera.
    • Although this sounds worrying, a "bitey" fox is unusual. I see foxes all the time where I live near Rye Lane and have never experienced this. I've even seen a fox sitting in the garden where an outdoor cat lives, whilst the cat was there - the cat was fine and is still alive. I think my flat is on a fox path because I hear and see them most nights, none of the local cats seem bothered by them. I can't help but wonder what would make the fox act in such a way, I've just read that toxoplasmosis might make them more aggressive
    • Purse with cash and cards (including photo card) found in road local to East Dulwich Tabernacle. It will be here (107 Barry Road) all day (Sunday 21 December) if you want to collect or PM me.  In case some one else who knows R Howard, please alert her.    Thank you
    • Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞
