loft and side return

So, we've been mulling over getting the loft and side return 'done' and have had several companies in to quote. We're now thinking the best approach would be to get our own designer/architect to draw up detailed plans and then present these to the companies to quote on - rather than just being led by the companies we ask to quote.

Any recommendations then, for architects or designers or experiences to share?

i would advice to get the drawings done of what you want so the builders can see how much the materials, plant, access, and egress comes up to, and then will be able to quote. loft quotes will very depending on size, design and finish.

We used Design Squared just off Northcross Road, East Dulwich - really good and they also sourced us a fantastic builder. Good luck!
