1921
Hi East Dulwich Does anyone have any experience of this surgery, I have given up with DMC and wish to move elsewhere with my family but would rather not move from one awful service provider to another! Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/51612-melbourne-grove-medical-centre/ Share on other sites
SebsC
I don't have any personal experience of it but judging by what's been written on the forum here I'd say to try and find somewhere else....http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1401894,1401894#msg-1401894 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/51612-melbourne-grove-medical-centre/#findComment-799851 Share on other sites
Annasfield
I've had to visit a few times in the last few weeks. I've had no problems making an appointment and the reception staff have been really helpful and pleasant. A complete contrast to my previous experiences. bornagain
There is a new clinical lead at the practice - the improbably named Dr Love. I've seen him a few times and he seems good. First time since the departure of the lovely Dr Johnson that I have felt that the practice may improve. mrure26
Dr Love is good and many seem to think the same. I have never had problems getting an appointment nor had problems with the reception staff, though they have improved recently. These days you have to ring at 8am (and be persistent) for a morning appointment, ring at mid-day for an afternoon appointment. There is also a system, which I have only experienced on a Wednesday that one passes by before mid-day (preferably around 11.30) and wait in a queue until mid-day when afternoon appointments are released. The trick here is to make sure that all who are waiting realise where they are in the queue. Tigres Pride
Please note - my cousin is a patient of Dr Love and it seems he is only available at the practice on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/51612-melbourne-grove-medical-centre/#findComment-800258 Share on other sites
