Post-natal Yoga Wednesdays 11.15am-12.30pm with Yazmin at Yogarise Peckham

Join us for an hour of nurturing post-natal yoga in an environment that welcomes you and your little one.

This class will help combat fatigue, bring a sense of well-being, strengthen core muscles including abdominals, lower back and pelvic floor, and alleviate aches and pains.

The babies rest beside your mat during our practice (we have blankets but please feel free to bring your own), or will sometimes be included in class. It is normal for them to cry and need a bit of attention during the practice - this is anticipated and never a problem. Yazmin is always happy to hold a baby or two that may need some company while you are practicing.

Classes can be attended 6 weeks after giving birth until your baby is crawling. This relaxed class is 11.15am - 12.15pm with 15 mins for a chat and cuppa at the end until 12.30pm.

    • Hey everyone, Just a quick heads up for those who might not be aware: there's a new law in England that took effect in April. Essentially, if you're involved in any building or planning projects, you now need to meet certain biodiversity quotas.  I stumbled upon this handy assessment tool that can determine whether you're exempt or need to meet the requirements. Hopefully, it eases your worries too! Check it out here: https://www.joesblooms.com/bng-tool

    • This Italian restaurant at the Southbound Goose Green bus stop on Lordship Lane is excellent but doesn't seem to get much custom, especially at lunchtimes - a sad indictment of East Dulwich society.  If it were in Camberwell/Peckham (where I used to live) it would be rammed. If we don't want Lordship Lane full of chains, then good quality independent family places need custom.
