Hi Forumites,

I work for British Airways and will be going to Nairobi on Friday. BA allow us unlimited baggage to transport donations for the local orphanage. If anyone has any baby/children's clothes and shoes to donate I will very happily carry them. Warm clothes needed too as gets cold at night.

I think shoes of any kind are desperately needed.

I can collect if you are local to ED or I will be home Wednesday to accept any donations.

If you do donate, I would also really appreciate the checked/stripey zippered laundry bags to carry them in as these bags can be zipped and checked into the hold.

Cheers

JM

Hi SC,

I will be going on a semi regular basis so anything you have to donate is gladly appreciated. I spoke with the orphanage and everything is welcome; clothes, shoes and toys. Even pens and pencils.

One of the projects is the care for abandoned disabled kids who haven't received much stimulation in their lifetime so any toys are much appreciated.
