Babur awful takeaway today. Used to be excellent, hadn't had it for a year or so: today the lamb dish was liberally coated in red food colouring and tasted of barbecue sauce. Barbecue sauce!

Ended up binning it and phoning to complain (first time ever with a takeaway)...full credit towards a future order...which I won't use.

Babur takeaway is hit and miss.

But their restaurant has always been consistently excellent when I've been.

@bkkmei I've heard that and will try someday (and give them a piece of my mind on their inedible takeaway in person)

@Tony 007 agreed.

Finally Ganapati is still thoroughly recommended, slightly pricier than other takeaways but well worth it and better to have one Ganapati for every two mediocre takeaways.

There's a new Indian takeaway just opposite Streatham station called Delhi Bytes. Brilliant taste and seems very fresh. Must try. Strongly recommend
