Christmas Tree Disposal

Hi, looking for some advice.

Always had a fake tree in the past, but the Mrs got excited this year and bought a fairly large real one. Any tips on where/how to dispose of it locally? I don't have a saw to cut it up to put in the brown bin.

Usually if you leave out in your garden on the days the garden waste collection they will take the tree.

Bring it to Sydenham Wells Park

They chip them and make pathway material for the woodland walking area

You can also dispose of them in Peckham Rye park by the recycling bins.

Far better than dumping them by a public pavement bin as some lazy people seem to be doing.

Just to confirm this was spot on. Left it last night and gone this morning with the brown bin collection. Thanks again, much appreciated.

Well - was just about to take ours to Peckham Rye Park - late I know. I thought the Southwark website had said they were collecting until 31st January but the web link's gone. Does anyone know?
