Michael Palaeologus
I remember when Walkers were very much a Midlands brand and did not appear elsewhere in the country. The rest of the you had Smiths and KP and suffered as a result. At college in Brighton I frequented one particular pub because they were the only place in the town that stocked Walkers.I have never been able to understand the European obsession with Paprika Crisps. Free country everyone entitled to their opinions etc. It's sold on this basis, those 'off the wall' marketeers being what they are.But to suggest that Vegemite is anything remotely like an alternative to Marmite? Marmite is a FLAVOUR, Vegemite is little more than a colouring. A darkening of the bread if you will.Hate Marmite with all your heart but don't feel there has to be a substitute.Marmite divides opinion, Vegemite barely warrants one.Vegemite? Vegeshite more like. candj
Chili and chocolate can be a very nice combination as one might see in Mexico, but not sure how it would be on a crisp! SeanMacGabhann
Quote oooh thanks jimbob - I think someone (possibly you) has pointed that out to me before. My indolence means I may never get around to doing it, but good to know it's possible.
