It depends how much you want to spend

Decathlon are very good value and much better quality than pretty much everything else around the same price point e.g. supermarket bikes and the like. Kids bikes from proper manufacturers are expensive, but hold their value - you can sell them on in a couple of years.

Tbh, the best bet is often to look for a second hand one being sold privately - I got a 2 year old bike that had hardly been used and would have sold for ?250+ for ?75.

I bought my son a Frog bike (which Balfe's stock). It's a really nice bike. I know a lot about bikes and I'd recommend them.
