Does anyone have any skills or experience in this? I've got an idea that I may need some help with? It's a very siple silicone item.

SIPLE silicone product? Suggest you put up a card on a school of industrial design notice board offering to pay a student to discuss, draw up and do you a 3D rendering of the idea. By which time you will know whether you want to leave it at that, attempt to develop and market it yourself, or offer it to an appropriate company. Generally, unless you have invented the wheel (and secured the design in your name and successfully marketed it) there isn't as much money in this as one thinks. On the other hand to see something in the public domain which originated in your own daydreaming is a real buzz - DIX
