Financial advisor for mortgages?

Hi There

We're looking into Help to buy mortgages and someone suggested that a financial advisor might be able to help us look at mortgages and discuss our options. Can anyone suggest someone that they have used and been happy with or one they know of that could help us?

Many thanks

I really recommend Helena. Has sorted two mortgages for me, and saved me hours of tedium. No question is too daft and she is really responsive.

Just wanted to bump this again. I have just received the 2nd of two mortgage offers. The process being complicated by the vendors threatening to pull out with 3 hours notice as my mortgage company were really dragging their heels. Helena dealt with it all - massively de-stressing things for me. I would be chuffed to send some business her way as a small thankyou. Please do consider using her.

I expect developers, planners and builders know far more than we do.  Where are you getting your information about infrastructure from ?  Your comment on new reservoirs seems more relevant to population expansion and/or climate change.
    • There was a previous thread about them about 6 months ago. Since then, they have been found guilty and fined for illegal street trading and collections in June in the City of London. https://news.cityoflondon.gov.uk/we-r-blighty-pleads-guilty-of-illegal-street-trading-and-collections-in-the-city/
    • The Government has set an ambitios target to build 1.5 million new homes bu the end of this 4 year term. Possibly unachievable due to various issues in the building industry but ambitious none the less.  What they seem to have failed to plan for, which was brought home by this year's drought, is adding more inferstructure including Reservoirs, power lines and sewerage treatment centres.  Ate they setting us up for more problems in the future?
    • If you know the layout of the Chequers estate, it is clearly unfeasible and logistically complex to project images onto the facade of the main building. Unless you are the military or something.
