Hen night ideas

I am organising a hen night for a very lovely lady who isn't too keen on the bar crawl dressed as a maid approach. Any ideas for something a little more refined? Anyone been to something they would recommend?

When is the hen night?

If winter then I recommend a chocolate making workshop-type thing that I went to years ago on a hen do, which was great fun.

Champagne afternoon tea

dinner and live music

If summer, then an out door picnic concert at somewhere like Kenwood house

Good luck organising and have fun

I have hosted evening workshops at my East Dulwich shop where you can design and print your own T-Shirts and tote bags if you fancy doing something arts and crafty locally.

Bring your own booze and food.

I went to Proud Cabaret for mine for a dinner, followed by cabaret entertainment and dancing:

Burlesque style entertainment though which might not be the hen's cup of tea.

I don't know if you'd call it refined but I recently attended a laser tag hen day. It was fantastic!

I did a weekend in a spa hotel which was lovely, not so refined but a chuckle was the "it's a Knockout" we did one day.

The organisers were tacky but the a a activities great fun!
