No water - Campbell Court

Is anyone else experiencing low water pressure? I'm on LL by the Common and Court Lane.

I drove along the common/south circ about an hour ago and saw water in the road, couple of Thames Water vans nearby - yet another burst main perhaps. H

I called the council and they claim there's a problem with a storage tank on our block. Mains water is running, but now lost hot water and can't flush the loo.

I'm in Campbell Court, Lordship Lane and theres no water at all now

Southwark Council claim in a text that the fault has been repaired, yet I still have no water.

11.30 update. Southwark Council in a phone conversation with me claim that a value is being replaced and Thames Water are on site.

Still no water at 5pm, caused by a burst water main in Dulwich Common, which is affecting Campbell and Glennie Court on the Lordship Lane Estate.

Thames Water's 'Live' section of their website has been nothing short of useless.

Hi. We're in Glennie - Thames Water are saying it's a Southwark issue and they (TW) won't send anyone out until tomorrow.

We're phoning Southwark now but have you had any luck finding out what's going on (or hopefully getting better answers?!).

All I was told that Southwark would be sending out more contractors, this was at 5pm.

I'm not expecting anything to improve until tomorrow, this despite Southwark claims they hope to have the water on tonight.

No mains water now, so not even a low pressure supply into the flat now.

Yes, I noticed they say "no drinking water". I'm getting the mains water through OK now (Campbell Court)but when I turn on my hot water taps - no water coming out. So the tank seems empty and is not filling up.

Anyone else experiencing this ?

Surely this should be fixed by now.

Water is now coming out of my hot water taps, but the pressure is too low to be of any use.

As mentioned above, Southwark claimed in their latest text that "drinking water" has been restored.

We've had everything working again all day in Glennie.

They have just started drilling again though so maybe they're tweaking something.

I saw the work on Dulwich Common earlier with temporary traffic lights outside the Cricket club car park.

Mains water has been fine since around 0400.

Mains water fine for me in Campbell but water from hot water taps etc seems to be still at very low pressure.

No good for a shower at the moment.

Same here. Next door neighbour is also having the same issues, I'm planning to call the council again tomorrow if the pressure doesn't return to normal.

We still have hot water and most taps (and a toilet, thankfully) but the main "drinking water" tap is off again - so hopefully they're still fixing everything so everyone is normal tomorrow.

I've spoken to the council regarding the hot water pressure issue.

Everyone with the problem needs to call Southwark Housing Repairs on 0800 952 4444, option 1 then 1 again and arrange an appointment for an engineer to come in.

It appears that it's trapped air in the pipes which are causing the problems after the water was cut off.

I'm still not getting anything from the hot water taps other than a temporary dribble !

Phoned Southwark and the guy said the problem was "block wide" and a team looked at it last night and couldn't find the problem and have referred it to Thames Water. Wondering if that is nonsense ?

This is getting ludicrous with everyone blaming each other !

Anyone else still not getting anything from hot taps ?

Amazing ! After speaking to Southwark Council once more it's just turned itself back on !

Amazing that every tenant who calls Southwark is getting a different excuse.

The bathroom sink hot tap is the best out of the lot, where as the bath and kitchen sink hot taps are still too slow to have a bath or a shower.

At long last, my hot water is finally back to normal!

However, I've contacted the College Ward councillors to find out more about the lack of communication between tenants/leaseholders and the council/Thames Water.

Glad your water is back on, mine seems OK as well touch wood.

And quite agree, the communication was bad, not least the conflicting stories from different people in the council.
