Went in last night for food n drink, having only been once before in the summer and sat outside could not really tell you much abut the referb. Food was very nice but slow service think they need another bar-person. Would return thou as good value/quality.

I went in last night for the first time since the refurb - I thought it looked very good - but was sorry that there was not a lot of change in the menu (and not a great choice of ales). However the beer garden was still the best and I look forward to returning when there is some proper sun!

I was there last night and thought it looked good although not all that different really.. I think the new heater in the marquee area is a good one as you no longer have one of the stand up gas ones which take up space.. Menu still good, Ava still great, we got quick service and was good the tunes were out the back in the marquee..

      Any interest in a Barter scheme?

      A quick assessment on having a barter scheme amongst the community. An exchange of goods and services may be really helpful during these difficult times.    I wonder if it’s something that someone would be willing to set up separately and link to the forum? Or perhaps  an additional aspect of the forum itself if it was easy to include? I don’t have IT knowledge to set this up unfortunate, but I do have skills that I could offer. From past experience, it would probably work best as a direct exchange rather than coupon credit.    I may be flaunting the rules by posting on this twice, admin please feel free to delete one if this is the case.

      As they have been closed, either as an antique shop or a cafe, for a number of years, the words 'go whistle' spring to mind. They are history now.
