If you have a cleaner, how many hours per week do you use the service for?

We have a 4 bedroom house but it's only me and my husband in the house and we both have full time jobs. We currently do not have a cleaner and we keep the house relatively clean at all times and we hardly use all bedrooms so I don't think we will require too many hours of cleaning service. But it will be mainly for cleaning bathrooms and kitchen.

How many hours do you use it for if you are in a similar situation?

Time boxing to 3 hrs is about right but depends on scope of work - just write a list of what you need done and get them to quote. 3 hrs is enough to do kitchen + bathrooms in a 4 bed plus hoover and tidy other rooms. Sometimes if i'm really lucky I get a shirt ironed too. They are Brazilian and lovely people and in summer they seem to wear little shorts and t-shirts and I'm embarrassed to say it's sometimes distracting to the point that Im forced to leave the house.

    • erm, I did read, I referenced and I posted - what is your point?
    • Try and read before commenting Sep, or you will, as you have done, not be relevant
    • if anyone believes Reform is a party they can trust then they really don't need to be insulted by me - they are doing all the damage themselves If people don't like the state the country is in they should question why Farage fought for Brexit and why it continues to damage the country so much. He and you will splutter it wasn't done properly but if you can't see the contradictions I can't help you
    • It's not incredibly difficult to understand that people vote Reform because they don't want the Tories back and they don't like Labour and they don't like the state the country is in. It hardly makes them "criminally negligent" - in fact, Sepiroth,  you can just stop insulting people just because you don't like what they have to say - it doesn't really add to your credibility. While Sep says "What the country needs is a serious, mature electorate", what the country REALLY needs is a party that we can trust - and that we do not have.  There is no point at all in having a serious and mature electorate if we don't have a serious and mature party to get vote for.
