Yes we use Impact Security based in Sydenham. The alarm is connected to our phone system and calls our mobiles if it's activated. There is around ?80 yearly maintenance charge for a visit to check it and that's it. We're very happy with it. I can't remember how much they charged to set it up but it wasn't outrageous.

Adt want 24 per month and they do exactly the same

So I would go with a local company

Rather than a three year contract with adt

Isn't it better to have an alarm connected to police station? What is the point of calling your phone if you are far away?

Yale do an alarm system that's wireless (apart from the phone line) that you can install upto 6 numbers i think that will call you or a friend if its triggered.
