Help-Ma-Boab
Greek place on Melbourne Grove opened and didn't last long Louisa. Not prime location right enough, but a Greek it was. DulwichFox
Locale was an Italian restaurant which has branches In Fulham and Blackheath.. Both Affluent areas. The Dulwich branch did not work. I used to drink there. The restaurant was always empty.. Perhaps 'Real' Italian food is not as popular as a handful of people here on EDF would make it out to be. For me, Italian Cuisine is probably the most boring of all Cuisines. But that's just me. and yes before anyone says it..yes "I don't have to go there." spark67
Locale was awful ! I had a lasagne there once, it was two layers of pasta swimming around in a bit of tomato sauce with a few bits of mince, the sides of the plate were spattered with burnt sauce from where it was put in a micro wave. We got the manager over and he tried to tell me it was how authentic lasagne was served. I then told him he was trying to pull the wool over the wrong person being a chef who worked under an often angry sicilian head chef, who would have kicked him right in the "Puglia's" if he'd heard that ! It was then we got a free bottle of wine :)Sad to see Koz go, I've had a couple of birthdays there and the owner always shook me by the hand when I went in and showed us to our table. Be interested to see what the new place brings to the Lane. bil
Koz was so busy, the food was delicious and service came with a smile. I'm so sad to see it go. I do love pasta so I'm glad to see an Italian (not just pizza) restaurant opening. Wish it was in addition to Koz though.Koz takeaway & Oddono's & wine from La Cave de Bruno = good night in! hkphooey
Hi folks. I've been to Olivelli on The Cut in Waterloo and it's great quality food that does more than just pizza. I hope this one cuts the mustard! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/55973-kos-to-become/page/2/#findComment-852333 Share on other sites
