I grew up listening to Bert my father had quite an extensive collection, He actually taught Jimmy Page DADGAD modal tuning by showing him the basics Page came up with White Summer which later became Black Mountain Side.

Rosemary Lane and Moonshine are probably my favourite albums , though Black Swan is very good .

songs such as One for Jo , The first time ever ...etc ... ( the version with Mary Visconti/Hopkin doing a weird canon vocal) ... Bird Song ... all the Avocet stuff ... the first album and It Don't Bother Me .... amazing .......

Yeah Jimmy Page ripped him off and changed the title of the song. I don't suppose there was any royalties in the offing either.

Bert Jansch is a fabulous acoustic player and if we're talking muso corner and the electric guitar then Jeff Beck is God.
