Also popped in here for their opening special of a free eyebrow shape and booked in a wax last weekend. Offered a nice drink when arrivd and calm inside. Really impressed with my first appointment and going back for gel nails today! The staff was lovely, the shop and treatment rooms are quiet and very large and modern and the wax was really good quality, plus the person doing the treatment was really good so less pain, believe me I have been waxing for 15 years! They do laser so that's the next thing, excited to possibly try. They invited me to come and speak through and ask all those pesky questions anyone would - the type of machines, laser, difference between IPL, what kind is good, how many years they have been doing it and she has brought all her customers along as they clearly liked her service, so will see if we sign up to the deal, looking possible! I like doing my research, supporting local establishments and they respected me for using other people for things I have been using in the area. Overall brilliant experience, cost is around same but like their deals too.

I popped into this salon after walking past and thinking the salon looked really professional. I was glad I went in because my favourite beauty therapist (Sirin from Beauty Plus) has opened a salon there. Its on Hindmans road, which is just off Barry Road and has lots of great deals. I would highly recommend Sirin especially for eyebrow shaping, leg waxings and facials. I have lived in East Dulwich for over 10 years and this is the best salon around.

What a great addition to the area. A lovely clean, professional clinic with excellent service. Sirin did all my laser treatments last year at her previous place,(best thing i have ever spent money on honestly ever and Sirin keeps it light hearted) and I used to get my nails done elsewhere. Now she has her own place I am at Pro Beauty Clinic for everything including gel nails, broken vein treatment and eyebrow stuff. Will try the Crystal clear facial now summer over. Parking is easy vs many other places. I can highly recommend, as can my mum - and she is fussy. Excellent value for money versus my previous salon (Polished in west Dulwich which thinks it can just add on a fiver every few months for things - gel mani plus soak off ?51 vs ?28 at Pro Beauty - robbery). On a final note am amazed to see someone moaning about the decking (to allow comfortable disabled access) - I think is is fabulous that they are so accessible to all.

Hi Saffron - I've been there a fair few times. The staff and lovely and very professional. The prices are on their website under 'Services', but I expect that specialist skin services require a consultation and a bespoke quote. I haven't had any skin treatments, but I do have regular waxes and I've had manicures, eyelash tints and semi-permanent lashes. I'd certainly recommend a visit.

    • You'd need to get a proper quote (or three) for instance removing a cast iron bath is a very different job from removing an acrylic one. Again what pipe work will be being joined into - matching old imperial pipes with modern metric ones is different from like to like, as is dealing with a copper or an iron distribution system. The amount (area) of retiling required is an issue, as will be the state of the wall behind the tiles. It may of course all be very plain sailing, or not. Have a first look at plumber recommendations on the relevant pages on this site. If it's all easy then 3 days work may be sufficient. But it could be a week if there are snags.
    • Hi. Can anyone suggest a plumber for the job below? Replace bath tub with a shower enclosure, putting pipes to showerhead behind wall, re-titling damaged/removed tiles Also any idea of the costs involved for the labour as we will buy the items required?
    • Aria came round to fix my tub drain when I'd messed up the seal. Came within hours, fixed the tub, and ran a bath to make sure it was okay. Here's where the fun starts. While he was over, I asked him questions about the rest of the plumbing round the house. I had just moved into a Victorian home that was previously being rented. Unsurprisingly, we found another leak in the tub and a drip in the kitchen tap.  He came back the next day to put a better pipe in my bathtub and replace the kitchen sink. Painstakingly figured out how to replace the hard-to-access kitchen sink without cutting through the wood panel with the help of his builder friend, Mark. Answered all my questions and clearly knew his stuff. All this right before Christmas holidays!
