Double Glazing Repair Service

Sunset

Recommended Posts

Just had Perfix round to sort out my steamed up windows and to replace a few dodgy handles.

My husbands friend recommended this (I was convinced that we would need to replace the whole window which would be extremely costly). His coming back to replace the lock and handles on my French door.

I'm not usually one for posting these sort of recommendations but I'm over the moon.

He turned on time, was polite and tidy and it didn't break the bank.

I would recommend people talk to him before they get a pushy replacement window salesman round.

His names Steve 07951303984 / [email protected]

Agree with Sunset above about Steve and Perfix. I have only just found this recommendation but would 100% agree. We have some uPVC doors in our bedroom which had become a bit leaky allowing noise and cold in.

Phoned Steve last week and he came round promptly on Saturday to have a look. Spent an hour here and fixed it. We can't quite believe how long we have put up with the doors the way they were.

Prompt/ reliable/ friendly and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

The fire involves a building made up of a shop on the ground floor, with flats above. The fire has affected the ground, first and second floors of the building. As of 2145 hrs, part of the ground floor shop remains alight, as well as part of the first and second floors. A single-storey workshop to the rear of the shop also remains partially alight. Around 15 people were evacuated from surrounding buildings. At this time, there have been no reports of any injuries. Station Commander Anthony Lewis, who is at the scene, said: "This will be a protracted incident, with crews working through the night to fully extinguish this fire. "We're advising people in the local area to continue to keep windows and doors closed due to smoke travel. "A 25-metre cordon is currently in place and the public are advised to avoid the area at this time.  "Significant traffic disruption can be expected in the Forest Hill area, including in the A205 South Circular Road. Rail services via Forest Hill station are also being affected as a result of this fire." The Brigade received the first of 49 calls at 1827 and Control Officers have mobilised crews from Forest Hill, Lewisham, Beckenham, West Norwood and surrounding fire stations to the scene. A 32-metre turntable ladder is also in attendance and is being used as a water tower to extinguish the fire from above. The Brigade has also deployed a drone to provide the Incident Commander with a greater situational awareness of the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
    • Hi there, you're unlikely to be in the catchment for Horniman from underhill as it's minuscule but would definitely be in the catchment for Goodrich.  For secondary you'd be in the catchment for Sydenham girls and Harris ED but also probably for charter Ed from the pattern of the last couple of years - not in previous years - but possibly on the waiting list rather than getting a place on offers day.  It's of course hard to know for sure what the secondary situation will be when your daughter reaches 11 but that's the current situation at least. Hope that helps x
