shower cleaner - eco/ safe

what do you use to clean your shower?

i am after something that i can use while we are in the shower that is safe to use eg if it gets on your skin, or mingles with the steam.

any recommendations?

I clean with diluted Ecover. Probably not great for skin though, most cleaners are drying for skin. What about vinegar and diluted Fairy liquid in a spray bottle?

I just use vinegar diluted (1:3 or 1:4. It's most effective when you leave it on for a while before you scrub it off (I detach the shower hose and put it in a bucket of vinegar and water. A couple of hours (or sometimes longer) I pull it out and the limescale wipes off.

Do you want to treat/prevent limescale, or to disinfect? You could try doing 30:30:40, surgical spirits (isopropyl alcohol):vinegar:water?

i basically want to clean while i am in there having a shower. but i dont want to inhale any chemicals in the steam of the shower. we dont have a cleaner at the moment so every second counts.

will probably still do a proper clean every so often where i will use the proper bathroom cleaner but hopefully vinegar will do the trick in the meantime. apparently you cn use it in place of conditioner so maybe i will try that too!!!

For removing soap scum, I've found that shampoo and loofa works pretty well.

I think Method do an in shower cleaner that is Eco and safe. Also astonish.

I do exactly the same every day but just with a shower puff and some shower gel...

Then dry the screen , chrome after. No lime scale marks. Big clean every so often.
