Declining a school place online

Having moved (and misplaced the letter), we now need to decline our school offer. I have logged onto eAdmissions and clicked "view outcome of application and respond" but there is no options to respond, only a message with the name of the school and advise to read the letter before responding.

Anyone able to let me know how I can decline the place? Thanks.

Did you not have to do it by the 30th April?

Get in contact with Admissions - if it's a school in ED I am sure they will be delighted at the extra place (unless it's at an under subscribed school...)

I think it's the other way round Etta - the deadline was for refusing - you automatically accept your place if you haven't rejected it by 30 April (if I've understood the website??)

I would suggest emailing

[email protected]

Give your child's details, new and old address and stating that as you've moved you no longer need the place. It's good that you doing this as so often parents move and it's only when a child doesn't turn up in September that this is established.
