There's a difference between polite asking versus intimidating and annoying customers. The first is, I think, rather entrepreneurial and good luck to them. But if a simple "no" is not accepted then they should be given the boot off the premises by management.

Loz that's the problem. There are often around 15/20 guys stood around and they approach almost everyone who enters the car park and to someone by themselves this can often come across as quite intimidating particularly when you are approached by a couple of them. Sometimes they ask if you want a job doing then go away if you say no, often times I've totally ignored them and found they will pester until you literally say no half a dozen times. It's annoying more than anything, but I could see why some folk may find it intimidating.

The guys at B&Q are particularly nasty.

On one occasion whilst I was sitting in my car a Security Guard with a large Dog

approached them and told them to leave. About 20 of these guys confronted the Security Man

and seemed unperturbed by the dog.

It was only when " Police vans turned up that most of the guys disappeared into thin air.

Even then with a dozen or so Police also with dogs and the presence of an over head helicopter

they continued to argue.

I drove off at this time..

You really don't want to invite this mob into your homes..

Fox that's a pretty regular occupancy unfortunately. I think the security guys gave up in the end due to the intimidation plus the fact it's private property and the police kind of have their hands tied in many ways. I wonder how often they have the police helicopter out for these guys? I've seen it out over there too and many of the guys just ran across to McDonald's or ASDA.

Back pocket for wallet...it's totally irrational. Front makes more sense from a theft point of view. I have an irrational rage against men at the barber who choose straight not natural hairline at the back. Don't know why!

I sincerely hope similar is available still because for many elderly their pet is their main source of comfort and company.
    • In a couple of places locally, I have come across this. I am fairly sure that they attempt to do the bill in their head. If you just say , “no, I think it’s x” they start again and get to an agreeable number, or find a calculator. I don’t think it’s a malicious attempt to swindle people. Just not great arithmetic.
    • There are excellent charities like the Greenwich Wildlife Network who will help if you report any concerns with local wildlife. Foxes are wonderful creatures who had been forced into our town and cities and are just doing their best to survive, we should take care of them when we can.
    • Like I thought… prob like that for most of the day.. especially after people had walked their dogs, with friends, relatives  kids…
