Bellenden Belle
Hello there,A couple of good friends are getting married. They have three boys and as an alternative to a traditional wedding pressie I wanted to buy the family an outdoor adventure day.The boys are seven and nine. They are super adventurous - already taking diving lessons for example.Any suggestions of a day out near London and something hair-raising they can all try as a a family.Maximum of ?200 budget- preferably less! Gubodge
I was thinking maybe the Lee Valley Whitewater Centre, but it looks like most of the really fun stuff is only for age 12 and up. If the 7 year old is nearly 8 then they could do kayaking there, but I think that's only on the lake, not on white water. buggie
Saw videos on Facebook the other day of friends who'd taken their 5yr & 8yr indoor sky diving (the adults had a go too) and it looked fab - def in my list of future activities 😃 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/59119-adventure-days-out-for-a-family/#findComment-849132 Share on other sites
ladyruskin
Today's time out has a top 10 of 'wild' activities for kids including ice climbing and walking over the dome/O2. They are age dependent though Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/59119-adventure-days-out-for-a-family/#findComment-849291 Share on other sites
