I live in Bellenden road and trying to drive through there to get to work in the morning is bad, something should be done before there is a bad accident. catma Posted May 22, 2015 Share Posted May 22, 2015 Indeed, coming from Cornwall, I find the width of Bellenden Rd quite amazingly wide to be honest! As for the one way system, it serves to keep day trippers lost in a continuous spiral until they are spat out somewhere nearer Peckham Rye and enables us residents some space to park and shop.I suspect the crowds of school children are staying at the Peckham Lodge.If people were to only park where the actual parking spaces allowed there is, I believe, space to get by, but that doesn't happen. However I do find the comment "The standards were set in Balubaland" rather puzzling.
