Has anyone used Acer on North Cross Rd?

Coincidentally they just finished a patio pointing job for me today (i.e. on a bank holiday). They previously fixed a fairly disastrous fencing problem left by another firm. Their work seems to be very high quality and professional. Definitely worth calling them in my view.

Thanks, I have got them coming to assess a fencing job this week. Just thought it was odd them being so local but no reviews, nothing on the forum & couldn't even find any online.

I haven't used them, but they quoted for me on a job a year or so back and were very expensive compared to others.

Just an update on Acer. A guy came round a week ago to look at work needed doing which wasn't much (replacement of a small broken fence panel & post). He didn't say much so on his way out I quickly asked him if he could give me a rough figure for the work but he said no absolutely not, that he would have to go home & work it out & then he would email it to me. This was a week ago & still no emailed quote or phonecall or anything.

They did some tree work for us a few years ago and were absolutely fine, but the next time we found someone a lot cheaper. They also did the wooden fence and landscaping outside St Faiths on Red Post Hill and its a very good looking fence.

Hi.

We just used them for our patio.

Management is very bad. Our job accepted start of April has just been completed (mid June)!

Extremely unreliable and unprepared (material missing regularly).

Almost never arrived on time, even went to cancel a full day job on the day at midday!

I would recommend not using them. Maybe their lack of reviews is self explaining......
