Calsug
Just wondering if it is just me that has noticed an increase in fly tipping lately? I guess it has something to do with late spring clear outs but it seems to be getting worse.Maybe the council should be more pro-active in sending out leaflets reminding people of the criminal nature of fly tipping whilst also providing information about bulk waste collection maybe offer more bulk collections during the spring / summer time?Going one step further and at risk of being told to get off my soap box also would be good if people didn?t take the ?out of sight out of mind? approach when they pay a man and a van 20 quid to take their rubbish away for them ? it?s pretty much guaranteed that the rubbish will end up a few streets down? DulwichFox
It is up to the person paying for rubbish to be disposed of to check the credentials of the person company they employ to do so. You face a fine if you don't . DulwichFox Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/60082-fly-tipping/#findComment-851831 Share on other sites
robbin
Erm, leaflets? I think the people who fly tip are already well aware they shouldn't be doing it! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/60082-fly-tipping/#findComment-851944 Share on other sites
