Attempted burglary on East Dulwich Road

Just to let you all know that there was an attempted burglary on East Dulwich Road. Happened during the daytime, police are aware. They were unsuccessful but very ambitious so just keep your eyes peeled...

I live in the near vicinity and have my doubts about security so am very curious about the details of ths incident. can you provide any more info about which end of the road it was? did they try the doors/windows? front or back of the house? Any more info will provide me with some good reasons to get our landlord to spend some more money on security - thanks

Back door job. Tried to break in through the window by using a spade in the shed (which they also broke into). Police came round and were apparently successful in getting some fingerprints. Heard there were a few other attempts last night in the area.

Can't believe the police can still get fingerprints, don't burglars know about fingerprints???

Why didn't they wear gloves, duh ??? The burglars not the police .......

Sue, I believe the reason why burglars are burglars is that they are not very bright. :-S
