Thanks Anna for being different and breaking the mould (a chocolate one, of course);-)

I'm sending a link to this thread to Morrisey in the hope that he uses at least the first five words as a song title.

With the suggestion that at least one line of the chorus goes #a substitute for the sweetness the brute could never give you#.

I've never stroked the brown stuff but do confess to nibbling a couple of squares of 85% every morning after building up a healthy appetite at the gym. And throwing in a square to any meat casserole or tomato based stew for an added kick.

I have however been known to stroke other items in shops - FM shoes, kiwi fruit.....

    • Hi, a bit late to this thread but I've having the same issue applying for a resident's parking permit for Upland Road. The letter I have from Southwark doesn't even have a phone number on it, so would anyone be able to share the one you used to get this sorted over the phone? Thanks in advance.
    • Thanks, I have done that and also Go-Ahead Peckham garage because i last used on a 37 bus.
    • yes, inside looks like a squeeze, we went in early summer and sat outside, really nice way to spend the evening and watch the world (and knackered commuters) go by.  It's time that the tale was told. I'm afraid it was Love Dulwich, which has had some good mentions on here. We only had a mezze and a side dish but the mezze was pretty sad and the side dish wasn't as described on the menu. Maybe other things on offer were better but we've not been inclined to go back.
    • Good luck with this - there have been several requests over the years by students needing to do infant observations.  I was lucky when I did mine  - way back in 1994 at a local nursery. Have you tried contacting the NCT to see if there are any local groups who would be willing to participate? As a mother of 2 - found the observation very informative - mine was a 2 year old child as my course stated a child under 3. Got my highest grade for this project so was very happy.
