I did mean the baby d song yes but i had completely forgotten how amazing the video was i shall now enedevor (i can't spell that word) to live life with fireworks, candles and headscarfs at hand for when needed. As for the 'The Velvet Touch - 4 - Rosalind Russell Leon Genn' brum it has affected me because my dad is called michael so it is very very wrong. I've also been considering velour as an alternative to velvet, I could mug some chavs of their tracksuits and stitch them together.

Oh I see why the Velvet Touch film clip may have affected you! It was funny though....

Also I suggest your idea of stitching naked chavs together may not make the most comfortable sofa.

Oh no after getting such a lovely warm welcome i fear i may have to disappoint you XWP by saying who is Terry Thomas?

Brum you may have a point about chav's not making a comfy sofa escpecially if i get a few of the ones who have limps, they might have pointy hip bones or something.

And I'm sure XWP that The Candyman wouldn't have any truck with your lubricious intentions.

I don't mind visiting this sewer myself but you leave Baker out of it.

And now you drag Terri-Thomas into this mire. And in School For Scoundrels as well!

Many a happy hour did I spend in my young days reading the Stephen Green books about 'Lifemanship', 'Gamesmanship' etc.

Even before I fully understood them I loved them. And of course SFS is based on the books.

Sorry, didn't I mention that to begin with? Are you sure? Well now I come to think of it you might be right. I suppose stranger things may have happened.

Anyway about that tenner.

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
