EPB
They're digging up the bedding plants on the Oval today and tomorrow. Lots of lovely bulbs, and perennial daisies, all free to anyone who wants them. Sue
Thanks for this, EPB.It has always amazed me how (many) councils just bin/compost their bedding plants at the end of each season. Some councils do now give them to community gardens in their area. Why hasn't Southwark thought of this??? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/61065-free-plants-in-peckham-rye-park/#findComment-855606 Share on other sites
Beebowe
Thanks! Picked some up last night. As Sue says, there does seem to be potential for involving community gardens.
