We are conducting research on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th of June in Brixton on behalf of Lambeth Council regarding the future of Brixton Markets and we want to hear your views on what you think should or shouldn?t happen! Brixton Markets is the heart of Brixton and is held in high regard by many Londoners, so the future of Brixton Markets is a hot topic!

What do we need from you? If you are interested in getting your voice and opinions heard by the Council, let us know and we can book you in to join a discussion group.

Total duration is 1 hour including registration

We ask you to contribute your views and opinions during the group and to stay until the end

Typically Groups will consist of between 4 to 6 participants

We will ask to take a head and shoulders photo of you to aid our recall of who said what in any group. Your photo will not be stored or shared beyond the project group

An assistant will make notes of what is said during the group and we will make a recording as a back up. The recording will be deleted once we have completed our report to client.

In our report to client we may report things that you say but we will only use a generic link to you eg ?Carol, Herne Hill resident, said : ?..?

We will provide light refreshments for participants

We will provide a voucher for ?10 value for participants at the close of each group

    • Thought it had been a fish and chip shop at one time?
    • Try Gentrification, those with more money than sense who constantly want something different, when pie and mash isn't good enough for them.  "Argentinian Cornish pasties" give3 me a proper Cornish pastie any day of the week, at least I'd be supporting something traditionally British.   ps. tin hat at the ready........................🤣
    • You really have to go and look at the schools yourself, and do some research. My children went to the same school in different years and had very different experiences. Different school focus on different things. It's very personal. We bought close to the school I wanted to go to, and then moved a bit later, when they were old enough to travel on their own.
    • Not even remotely close to the catchment for charter north over there and would imagine outskirts of east (tho should check recent years). Would leave the Harris’s as more guaranteed options so maybe have a look at those and see if you’d be happy with them as a fallback
