Saw the game last night. Did I....? Yes!:))It was 2-1, which reminded me of the summer I spent 'up in the park' >>>> and don't tell me you didn't!In my experience, anyway. But it's still a good idea-- even if my Dad never really drank teaB) which isn't to say I didn't deserve it..... alls well that ends 'well'..... agreed?

Thing is, when I'm 'on' the 264, ALRIGHT! I put a call then down thru the blackwall 'chunnel' then up up and away.. nuff said. Never used to like that.

EDF Charades is a classic free exchange of goods with added mutual benefits. You are at liberty to provide your interpretation of the EDF charade market, and I am equally, and without prejudice, able to extract value from that interpretation. Social benefits accrue incrementally and conform to a pure distribution of need.

That you seek to undermine this market with weighted, or means-tested, offers of determination, ignores the fact that all posters have the equal opportunity, right, and means, to guess the subject of the charade.

I would support, have supported, and do support, a return to these free principles of choice in determining the outcome of the charade - and the rewards, accruals and supplementary benefits (monetary and social) that occur.

In short - your guess.

No offence, but this really is a pointless thread populated by time-wasting yuppies who've moved here from Clapham because they can't afford to stay there living their show-off "designer" lives so come here to ruin the character of a working-class forum and force families who've been posting for generations out. Shut down the stupid threads with the yummies living off hubby's credit card and drive 'em out!

P.S. special offer this week, Gregg's sausage rolls 10p a pack, only available at the Bromley branch.

I remember someone saying "no offence" to me once and I stuck on one him. Got me banned from the bar we were in but that's their loss I thought. That's just how I see it, if you want to cause offence then fair enough but I'm gonna have a go right back at you even if you are a lady. Sorry, that's how I am but not everyone is like that I guess, but that's how i see it.

    • I've never been a big fan of the Royals - I used to think that their severed heads should be hung all along The Mall, but I've softened as I've got older. A slimmed down monarchy would be quite profitable for the UK, and a better option than an elected ceremonial president. Apparently, William has had quite a role in the uncompromising treatment of Andrew & Fergie and Harry & Megan - it reminded me of Michael Corleone's purge of the family's enemies at the end of 'The Godfather'. It was brutal, but at least Michael waited until his father, Don Vito, was dead to secure the future of the family business. William is putting his complications out of the picture now - I'd avoid massages or revolving doors if I was Beatrice or Eugenie. I think I'm developing a sneaking admiration for William.
    • I belong in “ should wear on” especially after bus and hospital visits last time I was up - a month ago and Gita virus which took 3 weeks to leave me.. In future, always in London especially in confined spaces..bus, tube, train etc, will be doing so. In vulnerable cat so can’t afford to get sick as have family responsibilities as well. On that note, only had 3 Covid jabs so far and very reluctant to get more… would like to avoid flu shot as well - only doing that as gotta come up for hosp apts in Jan..  had enough junk been in my body in last year - on that note, and I know it is personal pref/choice would be interested in hearing from other vulnerable as a matter of interest only - not judgement at all….
    • I know I should, but I don't. I carry one with me and put it on if someone is coughing and sneezing on the bus (or if I am). Problem is it's a bit disgusting wearing one  if you've got a cold.
    • How many people posting here wear a proper mask when they go out?  I do.    Mask wearing will stop you getting many illnesses, not just Covid.
