finally after 2.5years this superpower that is the UK has finally and by the skin of it's teeth re-opened the refurbed 50m pool at our National Sports Centre.


God it was wonderful, changing rooms are amazing, pool extended,water temp nice and cool, lovely new starting positions, no plasters or annoying kids or prats that don't swim, a great big digital clock - all nestled in amongst a dusty old building site, with plaster coated windows ! but who gives a shite............... lets gets bombing WHOOOOOOOOOOHHHEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYY!!!!!!

Wouldn't extending the 50m pool make it slightly more difficult for our swimmers to break records. They really haven't thought this through.

Well actually they did not think it through the first time round as the pool of our NATIONAL SPORTS CENTER was built too short . This time round they have made it the correct competition length. Crazy but true.

    • At the Dulwich Hill SNT meeting last night we spoke about Met. Engage. Dulwich Hill had signed up 185 households. Scheme  had been trialled in other parts of the country successfully and now the Met. Police are rolling it out, To the end of August, the Met Police had gathered 17,000 registrations which equites to 2% of households.
    • Personally, I think the death sentance should be brought back for anyone found to be harming animals.
