Deptford has the woman who wears wigs back to front

New cross has the man that make rasberries every 5 second in your face

Deptford has the lady who shouts obsenities at anyone and everyone and poked her finger in my friends eye

Greenwich has the pretend blind man who insults everyone and tells them they're going to hell

Who should we look out for in ED?

This thread should be renamed ED Mentalists, I remember the Camberwell white woman she was a bit freaky she must have been cured. Once I was in the Phoenix @ Denmark hill station and this woman introduced herself to me while I was at the bar, she said "Hello I'm Vera" So I replied " What Duckworth" and she threw her drink over me and walked out. her friend told me she was a patient at the Maudsley, me and my big mouth eh, I did laugh though, the poor love.
Yes, apparently the white woman is now better, and hopefully she's living a happy life somewhere. I mean I am not innocent of finding her freaky, and whispering about her, but when you actually think about it, she was very very disturbed, and (there are different stories of the background) something must have sent her over the edge.

Can it be amended from Whistler, sophiesofa to Hummer, sophiesofa (i don't often smell bad though).

I'm going to look out for the mentioned above, especially Rod Stewart

I like the black couple, old man and his wife, quite scruffy, but they are harmless, we always have a chat. He even offered to buy me chicken and chips when I was at the bus stop on Lordship Lane waiting to get home. I always give him a wave and talk to him.

As for the white woman, I remember her when I was younger, she used to really scare me, especially at night time but I was young then!

Hello HeidiHi,

I was about 26 when I first saw her and she scared me as well I'm 40 now, I took one look and thought *AVOID*. she was harmless though and I never felt threatened by her just intimidated slightly, I did wonder what was she trying to say by going around like it.

My sister actually spoke to her and said that she was lovely but my sister is a bit of a fruit and nut cake herself, had I met her now I would not be scared, more curious as I have realised that everyone is crazy in their own little ways, some show it much more than others of course! Sweary Sean has scared me now with his swearing, I shall avoid him next time I see him on the bus!

    • I don't know how it works now but my late parents had little money when they were retired (just state pension and they rented their flat) and they used to take their cat to the Blue Cross (In Victoria if I remember correctly) where treatment was free for those who could'nt afford a private vet. I sincerely hope similar is available still because for many elderly their pet is their main source of comfort and company.
    • In a couple of places locally, I have come across this. I am fairly sure that they attempt to do the bill in their head. If you just say , “no, I think it’s x” they start again and get to an agreeable number, or find a calculator. I don’t think it’s a malicious attempt to swindle people. Just not great arithmetic.
    • There are excellent charities like the Greenwich Wildlife Network who will help if you report any concerns with local wildlife. Foxes are wonderful creatures who had been forced into our town and cities and are just doing their best to survive, we should take care of them when we can.
    • Like I thought… prob like that for most of the day.. especially after people had walked their dogs, with friends, relatives  kids…
