Hahahahahahahaah. Nice one quids.

Beer goggles - I'm embarrassed by this but I'll say it anyway.

Do beer goggles work when you look in the mirror? - When sober I look in the mirror and generally think I look a bit rough. When I have had a few beers though I look in the mirror and think "hey - you look good tonight boy".

I did say it was a bit enbarrassing. :-$

In a situation like this SM you must always seek the answer from The Dame.

Go to record collection. Select Hunky Dory. Select 'Kooks'.

Wait for the line 'And if the homework brings you down, then we'll throw it on the fire and take the car downtown'.

Take it as a decision made for you.

Moos, may I just mention that the new Ian Hunter out in June is titled 'Man Overboard', but I bet you knew that.

    • As a cafe, yes. And they kept all the chandeliers they hadn't sold as an antique shop still hanging up. They had a real mouse problem, quite well covered up, however.
    • Ah yes, that's right. Didn't Chandelier sell a huge range of different kinds of tea?  That militaria shop was bonkers.
    • Spinach took over from Chandelier, which was then a cafe but had been an antique shop of the same name. Some shops up from Target Arms the militaria shop.
    • My friend and I once did a cocktail crawl down Lordship Lane.  I think we started at Black Cherry (now Franco Manca). It got off to a good start when I knocked mine over and had to buy another one. Liquorish was in there somewhere. The crawl ended with me carrying a chair and her a set of glasses, both bought from an antique shop at some point on the crawl, can't remember where and long gone. Was it where Spinach is now? Somewhere round there. The antique shop, not Spinach!
