Hi all

I am a member of JAGS and was wondering if there's any other fellow members (or people willing to pay guest price) to play squash with me at their facilities?

I'm pretty pants currently but I do enjoy it and think with regular play I could improve. I'm a 27 year old female.

ta!

Hello! It's a rather pricey ?8.50, but for that you get entire day's access, so if you wanted to swim or something after you'd be able to. Also I think I can buy a book of 10 guest passes for ?50, so assuming it were to become a regular thing then price would go down to a fiver

Hi - did you find any way of contacting other members for squash games? I've just joined but they seem a little disinterested at JAGS in putting a system in place for members to contact each other to book badminton or squash games. I'm looking for someone to play with, I'm just getting back into it, so not that good yet...!
hello! no i didn't i am afraid. they said it was a good idea but nothing ever happened and i didn't chase it up. i would offer to play you however i am leaving the country in two weeks so probably not much point! good luck in getting something sorted though!

I realise that you are members at JAGS - but if you want to meet folks and have a hit, Crystal Palace Sports Centre have a drop in every Wednesday from 6.30 - 9.00pm. Varying range of standards, but something for everyone almost and you may meet somebody of a suitable level who is also a member elsewhere and then you can arrange to play at local clubs. Its ?5.50. Everybody plays a round robin. One game on one game off sort of thing.

Friendly enough bunch. I've not been for a while though.

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
