Craig here folks, would love to find out more about the sound systems which tore it up aroud Peckham in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Wondering, has anybody got info on the Sound systems below? Look forwrd to hearing from you.

In the 70s 80s my pals and I were aware of Jah Shaka playing at Blues parties around Peckham but we were too scared to go. I wish we had.

I was at a party in Forest Hill in 79 and some chaps arrived in a lorry with Jah Shaka's sound system. The speakers were taller than a wardrobe, they put them up in the hallway and nearly blew the house down.

I went to a blues dance at Brixton Town Hall where Jah Shaka's sound system shook the walls of the building back in '73 or '74. One of my earliest experiences of the 'erb too. Total mindblast.
