Know your reptiles from your amphibians?

Friday at MUDDY BOOTS Children's nature group we're looking at amphibians and reptiles. We even have some to show you! TWO sessions on Fridays 10-11.30am and 2.30-4pm.

Sessions run term-time on Monday and Friday mornings (10-11.30) and Friday 2.30-4pm.

They are drop in, no need to book. Just meet at the iron Reserve gates at the top of the hill on Devonshire Road.

More info:

Muddy Boots is a children's nature group which runs at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve in Forest Hill every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. Its very hands-on, friendly, relaxed, completely outdoors and aims to let children learn about nature, get grubby, get lots of fresh air and explore this lovely wild green space at their own pace. Each week we have a nature related activity nature and there's digging, watering, a walk in the woods and listening for wildlife. We end up back at our log circle basecamp with a story, snack and songs.

Children any age love the peace of the reserve and are very welcome. To engage best with the day's more structured activity, I recommend 14m and over. Younger siblings are very welcome to come along for free. ?6 per child, sibling discount. Meet at the gates on Devonshire Road, opposite Tyson road.

    • We are actually referred to as "Supporters"...2,100 of us across Dulwich...read and weep! 😉   https://www.onedulwich.uk/supporters   Got it, the one where 64% of respondents in the consultation area said they wanted the measures "returned to their original state". Is that the one you claim had a yes/no response question?   Well I suggest you read up on it as it is an important part of the story of utter mismangement by the councils and this is why so many of us can't work out who is pulling the council's strings on this one because surely you can agree that if the emergency services were knocking on your door for months and months telling you the blocks in the roads were delayihg response times and putting lives at risk you'd do something about it? Pretty negligent not to do so don't you think - if I was a councillor it would not sit well with me?   Careful it could be a Mrs, Miss or Mx One.....   Of course you don't that's because you have strong opinions but hate being asked for detail to.back-up those opinions (especially when it doesn't serve their narrative) and exposes the flaws in your arguments! 😉  As so many of the pro-LTN lobby find to their cost the devil is always in the detail.....
    • Really?  I'm sorry to hear that. What did you order?
    • I'm still waiting for the pin for a card which was delivered some time ago. Luckily I was able to view it on the app, otherwise I still wouldn't be able to use the card.
    • I can’t say we felt the same sadly.. perhaps need to give it another chance
