A couple of hours ago I used the cashpoint in Lordship Lane, I walked away and forgot to take my money I withdrew. Whilst in the newsagents further down the road, unaware of what I'd done, a woman came in and asked me if I had used the cashpoint and handed me the money I had left. I hope you read this, although I thanked you I was shocked I had left it and also relieved I had been given it back. Thank you so much, you gave me more than the money back today, my belief in good honest people is restored. You are an angel, thank you.

Good story tamed, and it happens more often than people are led to believe as well. Not uncommon for me to leave a bag/phone on a bus or bar table and have someone run after me.

I doubt it will generate as many headlines as bad news tho'

Very funny btw ratty! I think at that point I was slowing down so I could catch the tail end of a song before I hit the pub

I left my money in a cash point on oxford street about ?60 i think. I realised about 10 seconds after though so turned back to find a woman who was behind me in the queue holding it and staring at it. I think she was deciding if she was going to keep it or not - was quite funny really.

It's nice to have a nice happy story on the forum. Sorry about your money though Jah Lush.
