Structural Engineer/Surveyor recommendation

Hi guys

Hoping someone can help with this. It looks like my flat has some kind of slippage at the front of the house. There is an obvious bump and then dip in the floor in the front bedroom and it looks like this could either be down to poor workmanship when the extension was put in (the difference in floor levels lines up with the bit that has been added) or a subsidence/slippage issue. There is a gap under the skirting board, which has definitely increased and there is also further cracking around the window frame and to the front wall.

Would it be a structural engineer that would look at this and if so can anyone recommend someone reliable and trustworthy?

Getting a little stressed as this is something the landlord should be investigating but I am being completely and utterly stonewalled by them. If anyone also knows a good residential leasehold solicitor I could be in the market for one of those too.

Any help/advice or recommendations, much appreciated.

Hi Terrella,

It sounds like a job for a structural engineer. I used Mike Royall to investigate subsidence issue when we bought our flat in East Dulwich. He seemed ok and I think he charge me for a site visit and report for less than ?400.
