Danby St burglaries

Twice in the last two weeks we have had police knocking on our door early evening wanting to be sure our back garden was undisturbed. In both cases houses further up the road have been broken into from the back and ipads/ laptops etc taken.

Seems to be happening during the day. Don't know about the first instance, but yesterday the PC said it was a back window broken.

Just a reminder to lock gates / be aware of unusual noise/ activity in gardens.

Apparently similar has happened just up the road in Grove Hill Road so yes, please be aware.
