Carolyntobin
This is a message to the lovely East Dulwich female resident who when the Waitrose driver went back to her house to collect some of my items he had accidentally left with her my shopping refused to hand them back. I very much hope you enjoy the dog food, wine and other items and that my croissants are not too dry in your throat. JohnL
It's Waitrose issue - they can sue and ban the lady I'd think (and would do so).I wouldn't even want to know the story - Waitrose - Where is my food ?Did they give a coupon as well as the refund ??Edit: To be honest I wouldn't like it if they gave me someone else's stuff eitherbut I'd obviously return it - I would want to check everything with the receipt then however. Otta
Either way, Waitrose won't have charged you for them, and should redeliver. peckham_ryu
Theft. Legally and morally. There's not a judge in the land that wouldn't sentence her to two weeks of dog food, wine and stale croissant as her only permitted diet. She has kept stuff that isn't hers and that she hasn't paid for.If you gave me a thousand pounds by mistake and I kept it, that would be OK then because it was your error? No difference in principle. But of course Waitrose should well compensate the OP who has been left without part of her shopping. Louisa
There really are some scum in this world. Keeping something that isn't there's. For all she knew this could have belonged to a disabled or elderly person with limited access to the outside world, reliant on home delivery. Louisa.
