I tried it out on it's first week - which was a tad early. It was finding it's feet, half the space wasn't finished and teh weather was so grim outside it felt like being on a building site

But the beer selection was good and it'll bed in just fine

I'm still going to prefer Hermit's Cave before my Silk Road, but if I'm hopping off a 45 on the way home I'll be in there a few times

Poor you Sue,

Does that mean no yoghurt & weaving "Folkies" nights

Never mind, there's always the May Day festival to look forward to

If you have any connection with the EDT, you will know why I am unhappy with the EDT.

I run www.thegooseisout.com.

The EDT asked us to run gigs there, which we did very successfully, then kicked us out with no warning after a few months, leaving us to find a new venue for a gig we had already sold out for.

Don't want to rake up old stuff, but you did ask.

    • This thread should be updated with a new title. "Is Keith Starmer Toast?"    I would say yes. This is as bad as when Boris Johnson ignored Chris Pincher's behaviour. And Starmer piled in very heavily on Johnson for that. If he doesn't resign himself now he is an enormous hypocrite and this will be very damaging  indeed.
