anapau
No they don't have a safety cutter on I'm afraid, the keyrings would suggest that the owner was scottish. I put up a notice on a tree near to where I found the keys but someone has taken it down...Thanks curlykaren I will keep an eye out for ads too. pk
i've said this before (and been shot down by people who believe that the forum is an appropriate and effective place to return lost property), but i don't think that the forum is - someone's lost their keys (in this instance) and if they don't come on here they've no hope of getting them back i guess that it can be useful to take the approach that some others have and post 'i found [e.g. an ipod] and in case it's yours i've handed it into [e.g. the park office; the police station] so go and ask for them there' but taking things home indefinitely doesn't seem right or likely to be effectiveKeys i guess are perhaps less of an issue as they might be easily replacedhas anyone ever successfully returned anything via the forum? Mark
pk Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> has anyone ever successfully returned anything via the forum?Yes, glasses, jewellery, kids toys and clothes and a watch from recollection but you're right pk (but no one's ever shot you down for saying so), the best thing is to hand them in somewhere and then announce on here that they've been handed in. anapau
Fair enough pk, the only reason I posted was I've seen other people do it so I thought it might be worth a try. If no one claims within the next couple of days I'll hand them in.
