Has anyone been to see this?m we are going on Sat and just want to prepare myself. What order are the stories in? Do any children run around or is everyone confined to seats? Was it packed out? Seats aren't allocated, how did that play out? Are there seat lifts for little ones to be raised up to see like at the cinema.

Thanks in advance.

We went a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it. Monkey puzzle sort of weaves in and out and the order was Squash & Squeeze, Tiddler and Smartest Giant. Think children pretty much stayed in seats, we were near the front but I wasn't aware of any running around, it's quite dark and was probably 2/3 full on the Saturday morning we went. Seats were allocated on the tickets when I picked up on day and yes there are booster cushions. It was lovely with music, singing and humour. My LO was enthralled for 45 mins, a bit emotional/possibly scared in Tiddler and then asked to go home(!) but we stuck it out for the hour!
Mines 3 in Nov and was fine. We left after Tiddler (about 40mins). So as long as you are happy to leave (an hour is a bit long) it's fab for them. Mine enjoyed it. Mine goes to the Toddler Cinema too so used to sitting still for a little while.

    • Because of the weather which delayed completion with roofer only being able to work certain days, it was up from November - end of January. Went slightly higher than gutters (we also had guttering replaced).
    • It's tough being a courier and the pay which is largely based on the number they deliver is miserable. Hence the staff turnover is high. EFRI was previously branded as HERMES but they had to create a new brand name because of poor performance. We get regular courier deliveries and EVRI are by far the worst. They just drop the parcel at the front door - often without ringing the bell. But worst is when they deliver to the equivalent door number on LL instead of ours on EDG. Best are ParcelForce, DHL and DPD by a wide margin.
    • I know the couple you mean, and she has always been friendly and smiley when delivering to me, but obviously in a hurry, for all the reasons outlined in the thread. My gate is always open, however (unless someone coming to the house closes it when they leave). I can't see the point of gates that have to be opened and shut again every time someone comes to the house. It just seems a waste of time, and it's annoying if you are carrying stuff. And a closed gate  conveys a sort of "my house is my fortress" feel. To me, anyway.
    • Thanks for posting this. Really interesting. It would be good if you added a star rating, so that it was easier to do comparisons / see what your top recommendations are. Great blog though!
