It is the 'Southwark 'news so obviously includes all areas in the Borough whether they interest you or not!

If it was any better people would moan about their money being squandered on higher production values - when there's bobbies on the beat to pay for or something.

Being a council is a constant catch-22 - you're going to piss off a proportion of people most of the time.

Please take the time to RE-READ my comments ta before throwing silly things like that around - I stress, I would like to see OTHER places covered other than the usual places

Woah, woah, woah... hold your horses there. A slight distinction is needed here. It is not the 'Southwark' News as in the independant 'Southwark News' that is printed weekly and costs 40p in the newsagent. This is a fantabulous publication full of interesting news, views and interviews as well as valuable information and rather interesting adverts across the borough... (excuse the blatantly obvious plug)

While the Southwark Life is the council publication that drops through the letterbox.

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
    • Reeves says she's in charge and no no's Rayners plan, what happens now?
