  3. I am looking for a childminder or nanny share in the Nunhead Area from January 2011. I would need my 3 year old to be collected daily (at 12noon)from St Mary's Preschool SE15, and taken care of until 5pm.   7. Nunhead Arts Week 2009 runs from 18 - 27 September, with something for everyone: Nunhead Open 6, a children?s show, the infamous urban Green Day, film night, comedy and much more.   9. I think it's a great school, with good staff and governors. Like any school it has it's problems but I think it is important to visit and chat to the staff to get a feel for the school. I can tell you why I like it, and why my youngest will follow her brother there in time, but I think you need to visit. Email if you do visit as I would be interested to know what you think.

  11. The formal date to submit comments on the PNAAP (Peckham & Nunhead Area Action Plan) is Monday 25 May. But there is an extension, if you can't meet that date. If you can fill this out please make sure you mention that there is no mention about regeneration in Nunhead, and it needs it. They will accept them later if, before 25 May, you email . Just let them know when you aim to get your comments to them. Arts Week 18 - 27th September Arts Week will be with us before you know it, so put the above date in your diary for, probably, the best festival South of the River! There will be the Open Submission starting the Arts Week off, Green Day, a children?s show, a poetry showcase, films, comedy, music and lots more good stuff! As there seems to be lots vocal Nunhead people, I will post the imminent Nunhead Arts Week 09 meeting up here when the date and venue have been confirmed.   17. You may stand your ground on schools in Nunhead but I hope you don't judge people on where they are educated. People who have been to so called dire schools can actually end up being decent and well mannered people, some may even live in East Dulwich. I stand my ground too that I am proud to send my child to a school in Nunhead.
  18. Just seen this topic and needed to add that primary schools in Nunhead are not all terrible! I proudly send my son to school here - Hollydale Primary School to be precise - and yes like any school in London it has its problems but my son is happy and is doing extremely well, so what more could a parent who lives happily in Nunhead want.
  19. I agree, the Nuns head and Page 2 are my favourite pubs. Nunhead is quiet but things do happen here. Come along to events during arts week (14-23 sept 07) as there will be a film night, classical concert, writers workshop etc http://nunheadarts.blog.com/
  20. Yep, throughly agree! It's brilliant and easier on the purse than other delis. The home made pesto is my favourite.
